We have to pay to fix our roads

How crummy are Houston’s roads? And how does their crumminess affect you?  In a report released last week, TRIP, a nonprofit industry group, ran the numbers, and the results are depressing. Poor, unsafe and congested roads cost the average Houston driver nearly $1,900 a year, largely for car repair. And every year, congestion consumes 57 hours of the average Houston driver’s life.
