Transportation Meeting Focused On Valley Roads

By September 27, 2013 July 30th, 2014 No Comments

Today marked day two of the Texas transportation commission’s agenda in the RGV.

Among the items discussed were reliable transportation systems to and from the valley for commercial and non commercial traffic.

An example of this was a ribbon cutting ceremony held yesterday that introduced FM 396 on Bryan Road and Trinity in Mission to improve the steady flow of commercial trade traffic into the RGV.

The once two lane road which has now transformed to four is just two months shy of the I-69 reveal in Harlingen and Pharr, a sign that the RGV and Texas are making improvements for it’s citizens, visitors, neighboring countries and soon to be residents

Another topic discussed was the announcement of the new Pharr District Engineer, Toribio Garza, who will work closely with the community for new development.
