Mayor: Shouldering TxDOT costs a “When”, not an “If”

There is movement on TxDOT’s idea to turn over responsibility for state roads within city limits to the city of Lubbock.  FOX 34 reported last week that because of limited funding, TxDOT proposed that larger cities take charge of maintenance for stretches of farm to market roads, and highways that run through town.
