28 miles of US Hwy. 59 now Interstate 69

Workers from the Texas Department of Transportation are installing blue Interstate 69 signs on the Southwest Freeway.  “This is one small part of a much larger, critical link connecting Texans from Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley all the way up through Texarkana,” said Texas Transportation Commissioner Jeff Austin, III.
